Ham Avocado Grilled Cheese Dippers
Serves: 20
Serving size: 1 dipper
Ingredients:
- 20 slices of country harvest whole grain bread
- 20 slices of Cheddar Cheese
- 2.5 avocados
- 10 slices of ham, chopped
- 10 mushrooms, chopped
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
Directions:
- Roll out each slice of bread using a rolling pin so that they appear thin.
- Place a slice of cheese on each bread slice and top with smashed avocado, ham crumbles, and mushroom pieces.
- Tightly roll each slice of bread. Use toothpicks to keep them from unraveling if needed. (once the cheese melts they will hold together)
- Heat a frying pan on medium heat and add olive oil. Once hot, add dippers to the pan and brown each side of the rolls until the cheese melts on the inside.
- Serve with soup or dip! (Healthy dip could be a tzatziki using Greek yogurt)
